HILPERTON United visited neighbours Semington Magpies on the opening day of the Trowbridge and District League season and came away with all the points with a 4–1 victory.

Liam Milburn helped himself to a brace of goals with Ben Spong adding another. Hilperton’s fourth was an own goal.

Jake Abbot scored for Semington just before the break in an excellent game played in awful conditions

It puts Hilperton United as joint second in the division after one match with Calne Town Reserves. They are behind Three Daggers who are ahead on goal difference after putting 11 past Heylesbury.
